Abstract
The propensity of human beings to be attracted by beauty, and the social benefits brought by one’s physical attractiveness, have encouraged the use of cosmetics and the custom of doing makeup, long since the ancient civilizations. Mirror, as a necessary one to take care of one’s appearance, has found its new opportunities in people’s lives in the digital era. Given the great market potential of personalized beauty service, we began our research to establish a design framework for saleable smart mirrors which provides customized makeup recommendation.
