Smart Mirror Design (2017 -2020), KAIST, South Korea

Project Description

“Smart Mirror” is a lab project of the Information-Based Design Lab, KAIST. There are three teams: the Artificial Intelligence in Design team, the User Experience team, and the Making Things team. All three teams worked together to develop an AI-driven personal mirror with the beauty recommendation function. AI in Design and Making Teams teams are responsible for the study and development of the algorithm and the hardware, respectively. The User Experience team conducted the user study to design a UI/UX blueprint for the other teams. I have been an active member of the User Experience team since April 2018. As a team member, I took part in the expert interviews, the case study of related products, mapping of the customer journey, and persona design.
